5 Amazing signature drinks for your event

August 4, 2017

Signature drinks are a great way to cut down on the alcohol costs per guest. This is also a wonderful way to show a little of the personality and blending of the couple on your special day. Here are some of my favorite recipes and ideas.

Spring Drink:

Lavender Lemon Cocktail

  • 2 ounces St. George Botanivor Gin

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice (We like a little more lemon in ours. We did about 1.5 ounces per cocktail)

  • .75 ounces lavender syrup (I personally don’t like mine too sweet. I only put .50 ounces in my cocktail)

  • 1 ounce sparkling water

  • optional Lavender Spring for garnish

  • optional Sage Leaf for garnish

Summer drink:

Strawberry Margarita Drink

*this recipe yields 6-8 servings.

5 min Prep Time 5 min Total Time

Ingredients

16 ounces strawberries, chopped. (or 16 ounces frozen strawberries for easier mixing)

1 can frozen limeade concentrate

4 cups water

1-2 tablespoons agave nectar (depending on how sweet you want the punch)

1 1/2 cups good-quality tequila

2 cups orange juice

4 cups strawberry or diet strawberry soda

1/4 cup sugar

Limes and strawberries, for garnish

Salt to rim glasses (optional)

Fall Drink:

Apple Cider Bellini

  • Fig-infused vodka/liquor (we used Mahia)

  • Apple cider

  • Prosecco

  • Powdered cinnamon (optional)

  • Granulated sugar (optional)

Step 1: Pour a splash (seriously, that's all you need) of the fig vodka into a shaker and add 3/4 cup of cider to the mix. Shake to combine.

Step 2: Set out your champagne flutes, and pour the cider mixture about 1/4 of the way into each glass. Top with prosecco and serve.

Winter Drink:

Salted Caramel White Russian

Salted caramel sauce
Ice
Salt flakes

25ml (one shot) Salted Caramel Irish Cream
25ml Amaretto
75ml (3 shots) of half and half (milk and cream)

Step 1: Take the caramel sauce and use a teaspoon to slightly drizzle it in the glass, while slowly turning the glass so you get a nice swirled effect.
Step 2: Fill the glass with ice.

Step 3: Next, add your liquid ingredients to your cocktail shaker, along with a few cubes of ice. Shake well and strain in to the glasses.

Step 4: Garnish with a spring of rosemary or a bit of chocolate.
